Stefan Proinov, an expert in Europe on antique and ancient art, warns of a new type of forgery.
These are pretty heavily imitated fakes originating in China.
Tens of millions of fakes have been produced from them. Mainly offered as souvenirs as well as fraudulently claiming to be silver.
These so far silvered forgeries were of magnetic spav.
The new thing is that they are now made of non-magnetic alloy in MINT ERROR style.
Watch out for these fakes.
