Find of 1061 silver coins in Great Britain
In August 2020, Luke Mahoney, a metal detector in England, along with two of his friends, discovered a large find of 1,061 silver coins dating from the 16th to the 17th century.
According to experts, the treasure was probably buried by the owner of the land, who went to fight in the Civil War in England at the time.
With a smile, Luke also notes the contribution of his metal detector – “EQUINOX 800 – just turn it on and it will do all the work for you.”
However, in the UK, all this is regulated by law, and Luke has made a good advertisement.
